Backups
NexPanel backs up accounts with restic (encrypted, deduplicated). Each backup holds an account's files, databases, email and configuration.
Destinations
Add a destination in Hosting › Backups:

Credentials and repository passwords are encrypted in the controller's database.
Schedules and accounts
Create backup jobs with a schedule, destination and retention. Individual accounts can be excluded from scheduled backups. The Backups card in the node overview shows the last run and flags delayed runs.
Restores
- Restore account — restore a complete account (files, databases, email) from any backup point.
- Customers restore their own files and databases, or download a backup, in Backups in the customer panel.
