Resource limits (LVE)
nexpanel-lve keeps one account from slowing down the others. It uses cgroup v2 (the default on AlmaLinux 9 and 10) and needs no kernel module. It cannot run next to CloudLinux LVE.
Limits
Limits are set in the account's package; 0 means unlimited.
| Limit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| CPU (SPEED) | Share of CPU, in % of one core (100 = one core) |
| Physical memory (PMEM) | Memory for all the account's processes |
| Entry processes (EP) | Concurrent web requests handled by PHP |
| Processes (NPROC) | Total processes of the account |
| Disk I/O | Read/write speed in MB/s |
| IOPS | Disk operations per second |
| PHP workers | PHP-FPM children for the account |
See usage
- Servers › Resource Manager — live usage of every account against its limits and history charts.
- The node overview lists the top resource-consuming accounts and marks accounts that hit a limit in the last hour as Throttled.
- Customers see their own usage in Resource Usage.
On the server:
nexpanel-lve status # live table: CPU, memory, EP, NPROC, IO, IOPS per account
nexpanel-lve-selftest # check that limits are applied
Install later
If you installed with --no-lve, download the LVE package from downloads.nexpanel.app/packages/almalinux/9/, check its signature (Verify a release) and run its install.sh on the node (the node must already be enrolled). After that, Administration › Updates keeps it up to date.
